23-06-2006
Companies:
The German company Project Start is to establish new head office in Copenhagen. The company which is based in Rostock makes a living by facilitating labour to construction sites in Germany and now wants to expand its market area to Denmark and later maybe also to Sweden.
Project Start has a staff of approximately 200 permanent staff in Germany, says business development manager Jørgen Jessen who together with Copenhagen Capacity’s German agent has had contact to the company.
“The employees are bricklayers, carpenters, electricians etc. – all directed toward construction work and it is also construction workers whom Project Start will facilitate to Danish building contractors etc., says Jørgen Jessen. He points out that the company emphasises that the workers will be paid in Danish wages and be employed on Danish conditions. Before the establishment Copenhagen Capacity has assisted among other things at getting all the labour legislation under control as well as attended several meetings with Danish labour unions to make sure that everything is done by the book.
So far Project Start has appointed two Danish staff to handle the Danish part of the company. Project Start has established its office in Copenhagen city and has already entered into the first contracts on the busy Danish construction market.
