Since 1st January 2006, Copenhagen Capacity in conjunction with HUR and the Danish Producer's Association has been working on setting up a new regional film fund in Copenhagen. The focus will be on international productions.

Project manager Lars Hermann states: "Our international focus will help create new opportunities for Danish producers and Danish film talent in the Capital Region".

The fund, to be financed by public and private investors, should be operational by 2007.
