bound motorway connections. The Port of Køge handles freight and
cargo and is well connected to the railway and the highway systems.
The ferry port in Rødby can be reached within 75 minutes from Køge.
The ferry service between Rødby and Puttgarden in Germany is one of
the world's most effecient ferry services sailing every 30 minutes
with 45 minutes sailing time.

distribution industries because of the excellent infrastructure.
The area hosts one of the largest transport centres of the region,
The Scandinavian Transport Centre, holding among others the
Transamerica Trailer Leasing is located. The Scandinavian Transport
Centre offers all the necessary facilities such as large industrial
areas, various service providers and a highly developed
infrastructure including railway connections. The Transport Centre
has strong relationships with the Port of Køge making the location
