all phases of investment. These include BankInvest Biomedicinsk
Udvikling and Scandinavian Life Science Ventures and several
others focused solely on life science investments.
In Medicon Valley, investors usually take a long-term view on
their investments, and they often increase their investments.
Recent years’ upspring of new biotechnological companies in
Medicon Valley has also created an international interest in the
investment opportunities in the region. Several foreign venture
companies such as the UK based 3i, the Finnish BIO Fund and the
Geneva based Index Ventures are actively investing within Medicon
Valley.
