The Copenhagen Region is gateway to Northern Europe. For further

The outline of the Copenhagen Region follows a geographical
pattern of a centre with urban lines or so-called "Fingers". The
city centre and the metropolitan area are serviced by the Metro,
S-trains (local train service) and buses.
The physical planning of the region follows "The Five Finger
Plan" which ensures easy access to the city core and easy access
between each of the Fingers, thereby reducing transportation costs
of almost any type of business activity
(read more).
Each Finger is connected to the city centre by a combination of
trains and toll-free motorways. Small distances and the fact that
traffic is not congested like in many other European regions, make
the average time spent on commuting less than one hour.
The region is closely tied to the Southern part of Sweden
through the Øresund Bridge which offers speedy and easy access to
Sweden by car, train or bus and contributes to an efficient
regional and international transport system.
The entire region is tied together through this highly extended
infrastructural network which is a major contributor to the high
degree of mobility that characterises the labour force in the
region.
The labour force in the Copenhagen Region consists of nearly 1
million people. When the rest of the Øresund Region is included,
the total labour force amounts to 1,7 million, the largest in
Scandinavia.
The Danish labour market ranks among the best in Europe when it
comes to labour market regulations. For more information about the
Greater Copenhagen labour market please visit our main website
copcap.com here.
The labour force resides in the city centre, the metropolitan
area and along the commuter lines of the five Fingers. This makes
the labour force very mobile and able to commute to all parts of
the region. Due to a high quality infrastructure and short
distances, it is possible to recruit employees from all over the
region, independent of the actual location of any business.
