Companies:
The fashionable brand Burberry has opened a new flagship shop in Copenhagen to emphasize its name in according to the head office the fashion centre of the Nordic countries, writes Børsen Business Daily.
Burberry is not unknown in the Copenhagen fashion scene as the British brand used to have a shop for four years in the Illum department store, however, the shop is now closed.
But now Burberry has opened its doors to an independent shop in the pedestrian street in the heart of Copenhagen. The independent shop is opened as part of the head office’s strategy to emphasize Burberry as an important player on the Danish fashion market.
Particularly Burberry’s classic trench coat, which has been sold during more than 150 years, that makes the cash register sound just as do accessories as for example handbags and scarves.
