Companies:
Agra is now acquiring Stryhn’s A/S to merge with Graasten Salater A/S. Altogether the two companies represent a turnover of over DKK 600 million.
The activities for the products under the brands of Stryhn’s and Graasten Salater will be joined in a new operative company by the name of Stryhn-Graasten A/S.
Graasten Salater A/S is 100 per cent owned by the Norwegian family-owned group Agra. Apart from Graasten and now Stryhn’s A/S the group owns strong brands both in Norway and Sweden which are also market leaders within their core categories, writes Berlingske Business.
“They are two equal companies which have been able to successfully lead the development within their respective categories. The investment in Stryhn’s A/S is to create one strong unit and a solid foundation for growth. Moreover, there are unique synergies in important areas by joining the activities,” says Ivar Knoth, who is to be General Manager in the future new company Stryhns-Graasten A/S. Stryhn’s A/S has been a well-known market leader within liver paste and sausages for 67 years.
