Human resources and know how:
What do the super architect Norman Foster, former US president Bill Clinton and Politiken’s editor-in-chief Tøger Seidenfaden have in common? They have all attended the illustrious Yale University in Connecticut on the American east coast.
Earlier this year The University of Copenhagen was accepted in an exclusive club as a member of a new global alliance (IARU) between ten of the world’s most reputable universities out of which several are on the world’s top 25.
The establishment of the Danish office at Yale is to strengthen the cooperation between the two universities with regards to research, summer schools, and fund raising. At the same time the office will be a pier head for the Danish activities at the US’ east coast, writes Berlingske.
With this The University of Copenhagen joins the definite élite and gets even more contacts to some of the world’s leading research and education environments. With the opening of the office The University of Copenhagen becomes visible at Yale and the collaboration between the two universities about research and education is expected to be intensified.
